Jennifer Bagley will be going to Ghana Africa to participate in a medical and community mission trip this May. She has been going to Haiti for about a year and a half doing medical mission trips. Her team ran a medical clinic where I they stayed in different villages. Each medical team helped over 500 people. Most of these people have never been given medical advice or able to  afford simple medications such as Tylenol, Prilosec and ibuprofen.

Jennifer is a CNA and has been working for 7 years in a nursing home. She recently graduated nursing school and is waiting to take her boards to be a RN. She is hopeful to travel providing medical missions to give back to communities that are in need of medical care.

Jennifer has partnered with Sewing God's Seeds Non-Profit organization to raise funds to help her reach her support goal for this medical mission trip to Africa. SGS has partnered with cooperatives around the world to empower men and women and provide a sustainable income through their handmade products. These men and women come from unimaginable circumstances such as sex trafficking, drug and alcohol addictions, prostitution and many other things. Rachel Gardner Mission Fundraising For Haiti

Dear Friends & Family,

I have partnered with Sewing Gods Seeds Non-Profit organization to help raise support for a mission trip to Haiti. SGS purchases artisans work worldwide to help support the men and women who make them. Most of these cooperatives have been developed to raise the women out of slavery, prostitution and the streets. When you purchase from SGS you are helping these men, women and children, plus you are helping me. They will donate 100% of the profits from all artisan products you purchase. This is a great time to buy with a purpose this holiday season! Just leave my name in the check out notes.

God has clearly called us to specific ministries in Haiti. We will be serving through construction, medical ministries and helping with a new school that has just opened. We know we cannot complete these on our own, we hold faith that God will provide.

SGS has partnered with Healing hearts to help provide specific needs to help with our trip projects.

Even if you cannot give or purchase an item we ask most importantly for your prayers for God to use us and keep us safe as we serve. Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere, and ranked highest for the hungriest country in the world.

We thank you for your support.

                                   Sincerely,

                                              Rachel Gardner, PA-C

Max Scheffer World Race Mission Fundraiser

Meet Max Scheffer, a brave and faithful 18 years old graduating from High School in 3 months. Instead of going directly to college after high school, he will be taking a year off.

Max was accepted to A&M and had fully intended on attending college there, then something hit him. Unsure why he was going there, what he wanted to major in nor what he wanted to devote his life to. A four year commitment is a huge amount of time and money! He started praying and reading over old prayers, he felt certain God was not calling him straight to college at all.

He was mentored through a friend about World Race a gap year program run by the organization adventure in missions. It was for kids like him who really didn't know what occupation God was calling them to, people who had a passion for serving, people who wanted more that the status quo.

Max decided to go all in and commit. In August he will be leaving on a nine month, school year length mission to Guatemala, Lesotho and Cambodia. He will be serving through children's ministry, construction projects and ministering to victims of sex trafficking.

For Him this is somewhat frightening and risky, but that is what God does. Calls us out of our comfort zone into a place where we have to rely on him and take risks for the sake of the Gospel.

The Most Challenging part, is the raising of support. By June 8th he needs to raise $5,000 dollars. Then by August 5th $8,805 dollars. This is where he needs your prayers. He is confident that God will provide every last dollar!

Max has partnered with Sewing God's Seeds Non-profit organization to raise support! SGS empowers men and women artisans around the world to rise up from poverty, sex slavery, sex trafficking and unimaginable circumstances. When you purchase these hand made products you are helping in two ways, you are helping Max raise support to spread God's word in mission work and you are helping the men and women who made the products. Sewing God's Seeds will donate all profits from your purchase to Max's support! Simply Visit: Sewinggodsseeds.com and put Max in the checkout notes and lets continue to pray him through this!

John and Debbie Mckay went on their first mission trip in 2015 with Mission of Hope to Haiti. There they formed relationships with many individuals while on the ground. While on this trip they were able to lead a young man to Christ. They were able to share the good news of Jesus to many others. Today there are still many practices of witch craft, which they were witnesses to. There was a lot of malnutrition, skin diseases and poverty. Through prayer John and Debbie will be going back with Mission of Hope in October. Susan Barfield and Madison Hernandez Mission Support

You can help support Susan and Madison raise support for their upcoming mission trips to Zambia and Haiti. They have partnered with Sewing God's Seeds Non-profit Organization to raise support. When you purchase products at sewinggodsseeds.com and leave their name in the check out notes, 100 percent of all profits will be donated to their trips. Your purchase also helps empower artisans around the world to rise up from unimaginable circumstances. Shop with a purpose today!

Madison is 15 years old, a Freshman in High School proud to be a Texan! She is excited to share her passion for faith and serving others.

On November 24, 2014, she lost a great member of her family in a tragic accident. Her cousin, Warren, went to live in his forever home, heaven. That day changed her life forever. Warren was many wonderful things but faithful is what always comes to her mind first when she thinks of him. It’s been a long 13+ months and her heart has changed significantly since Nov 24th.

Her perspective has changed and what she now live's for is much different. Like any other 15 year old she want to live a life that is focused on eternity. As her faith has grown since Warren went to heaven, she feels called to serve and minister to others.

She has been feeling a tug on her heart to serve and get involved but wasn’t sure what that was or what that would look like. A few weeks ago, she was listening to a sermon at her church where the pastor was explaining what our tithes were going to be used for. Then a local ophthalmologist spoke about his experience going to Haiti. He specifically spoke about a lady that was experiencing a true medical emergency related to her eyes and that in the US, her condition would require immediate surgery in which blindness and even death was a possibility. As he spoke, he became emotional telling his story of not having the adequate equipment to provide the services needed, so he did the only thing he knew to do which was to pray over her. Weeks later he followed up with someone in the Haiti village where he had served and inquired about the lady. He was shocked when he was told that she had experienced a full recovery and was doing fine. A true testiment to how powerful prayer can be and how God answers prayers. It was then she knew and felt called to serve in some capacity.

A couple of weeks went by and she was listening to a sermon online with her mom. The preacher was teaching on Exodus and how God called on Moses to go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt. Moses asked God “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.” It was during that sermon where the preacher’s message gave her the idea of raising money that would allow her to go on mission trips, donate to local charities, and live a life serving others.

Greetings family and friends,

I am excited to share with you that I have partnered with Sewing God’ Seed Non –Profit Organization to raise support for my up coming mission trip to Kigali, Rwanda in Africa. SGS supports artisans from around the world through purchasing their products to raise them up from poverty with dignity. SGS will donate 100% of the profits for every item purchased in my name. This is a great time to support their ministry, the artisans and myself for the holiday season. You can shop with three purposes!

In the many years that I have immersed myself in the various ministry opportunities that God has presented to me, I have not taken a foreign “missions trip.” I know, who would have imagined that. Fifty-five years later and God has seen fit to change that; I’m so glad he’s not done with me.

I will be working with Days for Girls and International Duhope organizations that are involved with educating women - young and old through a faith-based curriculum.

Stop by sewinggodsseeds.com and purchase with a purpose. Just leave my name in the check out note box.

Many Blessings,

Cherri Westhouse

Educate a Girl or WomanEducate a Nation

Studies have shown that when you educate a girl she is more likely to marry later in life, have healthier children, be better able to protect herself from HIV/AIDS, and be able to play a more productive role in society.  It is also proven that her children will be healthier and better educated continuing the trend for generations and helping her country eliminate poverty.  So, what can we do?  Let me tell you about 2 amazing organizations that I am involved with and how you can help.

Days for Girls International - Did you know that girls in developing countries miss an average of 2 months of school each year because of their period?  With no access to pads, girls in many areas are left to sit on a piece of cardboard in seclusion while on their period.  If they are brave enough to go to school, they will use anything they can find:  banana leaves, corn husks, pieces of stuffing from the mattress, etc.  These all lead to terrible infections and sometimes permanent damage. Many girls are also exploited by male teachers or principals in exchange for hygiene. Because they cant keep up in school, many girls eventually drop out.   This leads to early marriage, high risk pregnancy, increased likelihood of exploitation and HIV/AIDS.  Can you even imagine?  I cant!

Thats why I started a local chapter of Days for Girls in our town.  We are currently working to make feminine hygiene kits for girls and women in Rwanda.  Each kit consists of reusable cloth pads, wash cloth, underwear, soap, and a bag.  The kits are designed to last 3 years.  This gives each girl back 180 days over 3 years!  In Rwanda, the kits will go to jr. high and high schools living in the slums of Kigali.  We are also making postpartum kits for the patients of my friends midwifery clinic that is also located in the slums.

DuHope - Im sure that many of you remember that while we were living in Rwanda I helped start an organization called Duhugurane.  It means Let us learn from each otherin Kinyarwanda.  Duhu, as we like to call it, was designed to teach young women to discover and utilize their personal and professional strengths, recognize their abilities and improve their knowledge and self confidence so they may lead a sustainable life.  This is all done through a faith based curriculum that we developed.

Recently, God spoke to my friend Jamie, the Director, and placed it on her heart to expand Duhu in a way she never thought possible.  He introduced her to a prostitute in a Kigali restaurant.  God used this conversation to plant the idea for DuHope.  DuHope will be a new one year program (in which they will learn a trade) to help women leave prostitution.  In July, the first meeting was held.  Over 20 prostitutes, we guess ranging in ages from 20-60, along with some of their babies tied on their backs showed up to learn how they can leave this lifestyle.  Wow!  I have been able to help Jamie from California with developing the stages of the program, grant research and just being a cheerleader!

How can you be involved?

It is so encouraging to me personally to be able to be involved with these two amazing organizations.  In March, I will be taking my involvement a step further.  I am planning a trip to Rwanda to distribute our first batch of Days for Girls kits to the clinic and school.  I will also be spending time with the women of DuHope taking photos, recording their stories and encouraging them.  There is the possibility of starting a Days for Girls co-op in Kigali so that the kits could be made right there so I will be looking into those possibilities as well.  The cost of the trip will be about $2500.  You can change lives by helping me reach that goal.  By making a purchase through this website you are supporting not only the amazing women who made the products but also helping the women and girls of Kigali that will be receiving kits and having their stories heard.

Thanks for changing a life today!

Jeana

Gasper Africa New Life Rwanda Online Fundraiser

“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should was one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is great than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” - John 13:14-17

The Gasper's are very passionate about global missions and this opportunity was something they prayerfully considered. They believe mission trips create unique opportunities for people from different cultures to engage with and learn from one another. Entering into another culture helps us better understand how Christ is working in the Global Church.

They would love for you to join them in prayer for the ministry in Rwanda and their team. Rwanda is a small but densely populated country nestled in East Africa. During the 20th century, Rwanda reached a height of violence in the 1994 genocide. Now, over 20 years later Rwanda has and continues to demonstrate to the world the power of reconciliation and forgiveness. This trip is conducted through a non-profit called Africa New Life Ministries.

T.A.C.T. "Online Fundraiser" Mission Team (Huff and Robison's)

Team TACT is heading to Haiti!

After Rich, Deb and Kelli each visited Haiti in 2014, they all came back with a burning desire to share the experience with their families. Trey (10), Abby (9), Chloe (6) and Taylor (7) - Team TACT!

In Haiti, the life expectancy is 49 years, annual incomes average $400 (making it the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere), literacy rate hovers at 45% and unemployment is stagnant at 40%. And yet, it is one of the most beautiful countries with the most faithful and resilient people. Team TACT will be leaving in October 2015 to love on and serve in the villages of Titanyen, Simonette, Bercy and Leveque and these Texas kiddos can’t wait!

Team Tact has partnered with Sewing Gods Seeds to help with the cost of this commitment. Sewing Gods Seeds is a local Non Profit organization committed to sending individuals on mission to spread and lift God’s word. The organization also understands the importance of providing service, hope and solutions that will facilitate sustainable change in impoverished countries. Ashlyn Brock has an amazing opportunity to be in missional community with The Austin Stone by following Gods calling for her to go to the Dominican Republic. This is Ashlyn's first out of the country mission trip and she is overflowing with joy. She will be leaving on July 11th and returning on July 18th. She will be working alongside an organization called Makarios which is a school organization for children who cannot afford to attend school. They will help teach chapel, work on projects and have community time with the children. She will build relationships with the men, women and children while she spends time in their village. Ashlyn was blessed by God with a passion for the spanish language which will be such a blessing for communicating in the village with the people. God used the villagers to speak to the nations of different tongues and she knows God will not allow the different languages to be a barrier for his holy spirit to work in and through her. The biggest hurdle she has in front of her is the cost of her trip. Ashlyn needs to raise $1650.00, could you please pray for God to bless her abundantly.

Jenna has been involved since 2014 in a Launch Community as a participant in the 100 People Network.

Thailand is severely unreached with the Gospel. Of the 67,136,000 citizens of that nation, 66,046,000 do NOT know Jesus. That means that 98% of Thailand does not know Jesus and may never hear the Gospel in their lifetime.

Jenna will partner with local churches and missionaries to help equip the Thai believers into lifestyles of evangelism and discipleship. Jenna's heart and desire is to help increase the local believers' passion for Christ and His commission to share the Gospel with people who have never heard it before!

 Romans 10:14-15 says,

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!""
