Kyra & Colby Kaltenbacher Fully Funded

  • Online Fundraising (map)

Kyra and Colby have partnered with Sewing Gods Seeds, a non-profit organization who helps individuals going on mission to raise support, through the purchase of artisans work from some of the poorest areas in Africa and Haiti. Your purchase not only helps Kyra and Colby but it also helps provide Education, Food, Shelter and Medical to the men, women and children. Sewing Gods Seeds will donate 100% of the profits from the items purchased to their exciting mission work they were called to be on this summer.

Kyra & Colby love attending their church, Gateway, and are part of their NextGen ministry. They both connected into a small group with others their age and have made lots of great friends! One of Gateway’s values is to “Change Your World”, and they are so excited to tell you that this summer they will be going on a student mission called a GO! Team where they will get to actively help change our world!

From June 8-12, Kyra and other elementary age Gateway Kids will serve the city of Austin. The team will be staying at a church in East Austin and will have various opportunities to bless their church by helping with work projects on their property. We will also serve the local refugee community via service projects and will engage in relationship with the refugee kids with crafts, sports, gardening, meals, etc.

From June 7-13, Colby and a team of 6th grade Gateway Students will travel to Atlanta to work with churches located in the under serviced community of Decatur by providing assistance, love, and healing through the Gospel. We will be helping these churches maximize their impact by providing the necessary energy, hands, and resources to reach deep into their community and touch lives. We will primarily be engaging with the community through service projects and outreach ministries.

Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us through Sewing Gods Seeds? The cost of Kyra’s trip is $350 (of which she has personally paid $50 through chores and savings). The cost of Colby’s trip is $875 (of which he has personally paid $75).This covers transportation, lodging, food, and supplies for the teams.

If you feel led to give, please shop at In the check out box just type Kyra or Colby in the box and 100% of the profits will be donated to their trip.

Thank you so much for reading our letter and thank you for your willingness to consider being a part of our support team.
